Jillian M. Capodiferro

Jillian Capodiferro graduated from Nassau Community College with an associate’s degree. Then she graduated from SUNY Old Westbury College with a double major in elementary education and English literature. She made it to various honor societies in English. She graduated from LIU C. W. Post with a master’s degree in the teaching of reading.

Suzanne C. Geddes teaches kindergarten full-time at a private school. She likewise attended LIU C. W. Post for a master’s degree in reading. Jillian and Suzanne were classmates and worked on “Ivory’s Present”  and created it as a class project in Dr. Ellen Carter’s children’s literature class near the end of their coursework there.

Jillian was diagnosed with Cerebellar Ataxia years after she wrote “Ivory’s Present”.  As a result, due to her physical condition, continuing her schooling was not an option.  Moving forward ,  she completed “Taking A Stand” and “The Hot Chocolate Stand”.  And now, in a different direction, Jillian is working on a book of poetry, and also an interesting  Vampire story.  ENJOY and follow Trafford for her new books.
